The VDI ToolKit allows you to easily auto log off disconnected VMware Horizon virtual desktop sessions on an individual basis. Currently, in VMware Horizon, you can only set this globally at the pool level. So now, if you have a pool configured and one user needs it to not auto log off until after 4 hours, it would mean you would have to set it globally. All sessions would remain in a disconnected state for 4 hours before logging off automatically. Without auto logoff, more sessions would stay in a disconnected state for a longer time, tying up resources until they were logged off. With the VDI ToolKit, you can easily create rules for these one-off users so it doesn't affect your environment globally. By doing this, you could free up needed infrastructure resources from your virtual desktop environment.
